My secondary school(Cabinda secondary school).[edit]

The secondary school that i was studying the last 6 years ago,was so nice in many senses mainly when it comes to qualifications offered, higher performance in terms of materials and great quality of education. Secondary school is a term we used to describe an educational institutionwhere the final stage of schooling, known as secondary education and usually compulsory up to a specified age, takes place. It follows elementary or primary education and may be followed by university (tertiary) education. There are many different types of secondary school, and the terminology used varies around the world. But we consider secondary school when Children are transferred to secondary school between the ages of 10 and 16 years, and finish between the ages of 16 and 18 years, though there is considerable variation from country to country. In Cabinda secondary school is called High School (grades 9\10–12), with the exception of Quebec which goes from Secondary 1 to Secondary 5 (grade 7-11). The role of our secondary education is eradicating poverty and it cannot be overstated. An education is perhaps a child’s strongest barrier to poverty. It lowers birth rates, increases economic productivity and equips children with the skills necessary to participate in the workplace. The power of Cabinda education continues to provide benefits to subsequent generations as educated adults tend to marry later in life, have healthier children, be more productive at work, receive better pay in the workplace and generally enjoy greater health. We consider education as a foundation for higher living standards and an important tool in the long-term eradication of poverty.
