Rickell Antoin J. T. Rogers (born 20 April 1994) is an English gang member and convicted murderer.

He was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Marcel Addai in May 2016 along with his accomplices Sodiq Adebayo, 22, Momar Faye, 18 and Sheku Jalloh, 22. Three other men, David Oladimeji, 21, Akeem Gbadamosi, 21 and Eugene Ocran, 19 were acquitted of both murder and manslaughter.

Rogers was from Brent, London and of no fixed address at the time of the murder.

Murder of Marcel Addai

Marcel Addai, 17, a member of an East London gang called the Hoxton Boys, was stabbed to death in a gang attack in Hoxton on 4 September 2015.

Police were called to the scene in St John's Estate, off Pitfield Street, at around 11.15pm.

Marcel was pronounced dead at 11.47pm and a postmortem revealed he suffered a total of 15 stab wounds to his legs, chest and back, puncturing the heart and lung.

Sentencing

After the murder, Adebayo, Faye, Rogers, Jalloh, Oladimeji, Gbadamosi and Ocran were all charged with murder between 9 and 20 September 2015. On 11 May 2016, Adebayo, Faye, Rogers and Jalloh were convicted of murder. Oladimeji, Gbadamosi and Ocran were acquitted of both murder and manslaughter.

Adebayo, Faye, Rogers and Jalloh were all sentenced to life imprisonment on 17 May 2016. Adebayo, Rogers and Jalloh received minimum tariffs of 25 years before parole and Faye received a minimum of 22 years.

Adebayo, who has previous convictions for dealing in class A drugs, previously stood trial for the murder of Noor Hassan Barre in 2014 but was acquitted.
