Calum Flanagan is a professional footballer from Birmingham, England. Calum favours the left back position but it also experienced in playing center back. He is currently searching for a new club after being released by Aston Villa in the Summer of 2011.

Flanagan joined the Aston Villa Academy at the age of 8 in 2000 and singed professional forms in the summer of 2010. Calum captained the U18's academy side regularly and made an early transition into Aston Villa F.C. Reserves and Academy side. Calum suffered a cruciate ligament injury in 2009, which hindered his progress.

After being named in Aston Villa's Europa league squad for the 2011 campaign, he was subsequently loaned to Kettering Town in February 2011. At Kettering Calum quickly showed his pedigree, establishing himself as a regualar at center back making 14 appearances. [1] [1]

Calum was one of eight players released in the summer of 2011 by Aston Villa.
