Kristin Mary Georger (born 24 September 1981) is an American runner, triathlete, and international student advisor at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Personal Life
[edit]Kristin lives in Washington, DC and often commutes to her job in College Park on her bicycle, a red 1977 Schwinn Varsity.
Kristin has been in a romantic relationship with Rory Finneren since October, 2006. They met when they played on the same Adult Kickball team in the Summer 2006 DCKickball league, the Little Lebowski Urban Achievers.
Volunteer Work
[edit]Kristin has served as a volunteer for the Student Conservation Association working on a trail crew in Massachusetts.
In 2007, Kristin volunteered in Peru with Coprodeli USA, an organization that aids Peruvian families by providing for fundamental needs, promoting education and job training, and developing strong self-sustaining community programs.
Athletic Accomplishments
[edit]Kristin is an avid distance runner, and she is especially fond of trail running. She is known to run the Muddy Sneakers 20K Trail Run every year in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York.
In 2007, she successfully competed in both the Virginia Duathlon and the Culpeper Sprint Triathlon.
