LexRox Alexis Bradford (born October 10, 1996), better known by her stage name, LexRox, is an American singer born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She has been vocalizing since the early age of 3 and began performing at the age of 7. By the time she reached the age of 8, she was already well-known in her hometown for performing at various venues. At age 11, she began her foray in professional music working SweetSpot Entertainment, Inc. As she continued to develop as an artist new opportunities would come to pass, and in 2009 she embarked on recording her first album of original material. She is also the Children's Miracle Network Youth Ambassador for Nevada.

Career

In her short professional career, LexRox has already performed on various stages from small house events to arenas. In 2008, she performed at Circus Circus Adventure Dome monthly, entertaining the many teens and families that visited the park for various special events. In 2009, she would entered various talent shows and would walk away in the top 3, many times winning first place. After working diligently on her stage performance skills, a tremendous opportunity came by way of Disney superstar Raven-Symone. Having met of her idol previously, LexRox earned the chance to perform with Raven on one of her concerts. On Oct 28, 2009, LexRox join Raven on stage at the Arizona State Fair. Before a crowd of 5,000, she was introduced by Raven during her concert and LexRox took to the stage to sing her original song "Love You Like A Sister". As a grand finale, LexRox joined Raven-Symone onstage to sing "Double Dutch Bus" Raven's hit from the movie College Road Trip. Raven's comment that day to the audience, "Take note, she is an up and coming force to be recognized". That opportunity really charged LexRox to strive for her own headline show one day. In 2010, she continued to perform regular shows at the Adventure Dome, and other various malls and festivals. On Sept 3, 2010, she performed with a band for the first time at Las Vegas' arts festival called First Friday. As if she has been performing with a band all her short life, she took control and powered through a set of covers and original music. Captivating the audience and further increasing her desire to perform.

10/10/10 The Show Begins...

On 10/10/10 LexRox' dream to headline her own show came true. At the M Resort in Las Vegas, she gave her debut concert with a full compliment of a band and dancers, guest artists, and a few local celebrities. This show was a defining moment for LexRox. Her first major concert, where all she worked so hard for would be presented. She rocked through a 60 min set of music from her debut album and gave a performance of a seasoned pro. That performance opened many doors for LexRox. Her next accomplishment came in the form of being "Artist of the Week" on Las Vegas station KYDZ. Along with the honor came her single "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" being added into featured rotation. With her music playing across the radio waves in Las Vegas, GirlsRockRadio.com began to play "Up The Down Escalator" in their full rotation and in Febuary 2011, added "Dare To Be Great", a song dedicated to the brave children of the Children's Miracle Network. 2010 Holidays were a great time to showcase her talent and give back to the community. Using her local celebrity she raised 75 bikes for the KLUC Chet Buchanan Toy Drive. She performed for at the Magical Forest of Opportunity Village Las vegas. She entertained the mass crowd at the JDRF walk. She also performed and brighten the contestants day at the Special Olympics Regional Bowling Competition. Dominic Allen formally of Foreigner invited LexRox to perform with him and his band at the Hard Rock Cafe for Toys For Tots. She joined Las Vegas artist Mishon for his annual Coats for Kids and Santa's Toy Box at the Pearson Community Center. On Dec 29, 2010 she made her television debut on the Vegas Morning Blend on Ch13. KTNV performing her single "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun".

(2011-Present)

In 2011, LexRox continues to perform and reach out to the less fortunate via her ambassadorship with Children's Miracle Network. On March 5th, she performed with dancers at the Mardi Gras Ball fundraiser at the Bellagio Hotel. She put together a remix melody of her 2 singles and her dedicated song to CMN "Dare To Be Great". Under choreographer David "D-Nice" Crosby, whom she met via her Raven-Symone performance, she wowed the audience with her boxer themed show to help knock out children's illness. She also had the privilege to perform with rising country stars the Carter Twins. LexRox joined the brothers onstage for a amazing rendition of Justin Bieber's "I Pray". On March 23rd, LexRox launched "Breakup with Makeup" Campaign. This campaign invites her fellow teen girl friends to come to school in solidarity, makeup free once a week and focus on the inner beauty that makes them all unique and beautiful.

Debut Album

Working with Producer/Songwriter Rodney Alejandro, LexRox spent the better part of 2009 recording 9 original tracks and one cover for her debut album. The release of the album would correlate with 10/10/10, her birthday and debut solo concert. Hence the title of her album would "10". Her music infuses rock guitars and drums, with electronic keyboards, to create a blend of Pop/Rock/Dance. She wanted to speak of positive topics but from an edgy point of view.

1. "Alert The Media" (Rodney Alejandro, Peter Karr, Sunny Hilden)-3:38, She sings of putting first things first and then celebrating the weekend. Track has a lead electronic riff that carries throughout the track, and breaks in to a wall of rock guitars in chorus.
2. "Girl Just Wanna Have Fun" (Robert Hazard)-3:23, A cover of Cyndi Lauper's 80's classic. LexRox' rendition is sped up, with rocking guitars and playful vocals.
3. "Love You Like A Sister" (Alejandro, Karr, Bradford)-3:24, This song was inspired by text message LexRox received from a friend, LYLAS!:). So she wrote a song dedicated to her friend, about how she values her friendship.
4. "Up The Down Escalator" (Alejandro, Karr, Hilden)-3:16, A song about overcoming obstacles and reaching your goals. Track leads of with a strong guitar riff, that is join by her stronger vocal delivery, empowering you to reach higher.
5. "Dare To Be Great" (Alejandro, Karr, Hilden, Bradford)-3:38, is a song challenging everyone to be their best. Take the dare do the things that achieve greatness. There is always room for getting better. This song was dedicated to her peer group, but especially the brave children of CMN.
6. "Shake If Off" (Alejandro, Karr, Hilden)-3:44, a Police/Kings Of Leon inspired track that talks about letting go of those events or circumstances that causes you to second guess yourself.
7. "Who Do You Love" (Alejandro, Hilden)-3:36, is a simple song of wonder about a love.
8. "Leave Me Alone" (Alejandro, Karr) is ska/rock track about not wanting to be a part of any gossip, or rumor spreading. Interesting is this track is the Beetle-esque bridge that includes a swinging jazz horn arrangement, performed by Grooveline Horns
9. "Kickin' Screamin'" (Alejandro, Karr, Deanna Dellacioppa)-3:47, speaks to being unique and the same qualities that may annoy you now, may turn to be a benefit you will love.
10. "On Your Mark" (Alejandro, Karr, Dellacioppa)-4:13, is LexRox' call to action song. A Killers inspired track, asking everyone to think outside themselves and be proactive at changing the world for the better.

The album over theme is empowerment to continue to grow and be better. A message for all ages, but focused towards tweens and teens. LexRox likes to say "My music is for teens and some grown ups too".

The album was Produced, Arranged and Engineered by Rodney Alejandro. Mix and Mastering by Shawn Moseley. All Guitars by Peter Karr. Except #7, Stephen Inglis, Album Photographer and Grapic Design by Christopher Devargas.
