{{multiple issues|context=January 2011|notability=January 2011|unreferenced=January 2011}} VSNA (Veerashaiva Samaja of North America) Northern California is one of the 16 affiliated chapters of the Veerashaiva Samaja Organization. It is a non-profit, tax-exempt, religious and cultural organization in the United States of America.[1]

The mission is to preserve and foster Veerashaivism (Lingayatism) in North America; and to impart the Lingayata spiritual heritage, its universalistic, democratic values to posterity through the teachings of Basavanna and other spiritual leaders.[2][3]

History

VSNA North California chapter was founded in the year 1995 by seventeen like-minded [(Veerashaiva)] families and over the years has grown to be one of the largest and most active VSNA chapters.[1]

VSNA North California organizes cultural and religious events and activities all throughout the year[4] as listed below:

  • Sports & Picnic day
  • Camping
