Maurice Howard Halstead (July 31, 1918 - January 8, 1979)[1] was a computer scientist who specialized in software metrics [2]. Halstead is known for Halstead complexity measures, which measure the complexity of software based on analysis of the software's source code, as opposed to its behavior when executing.
