Career

[edit]

Ray Isaac is a singer, song writer, and DJ, born and raised in Sydney, Australia. His music is known for being fierce, explosive, intoxicating, and functional, expressing pain, love, and redemption, and has been described as "a shot of Charlie Puth into a David Guetta Jagerbomb". [1][2][3][4][5]

Ray's 2006 debut collaboration single I Don't Give A Damn topped ARIA charts at rank 11 and was featured on a Ministry of Sound compilation, a label of Universal Music.[6][7][8] U Want or U Don't in 2011 reached AIR Charts ranking number 7.[9] Ray's third single, Who I am was released in 2014[10], and was featured in anti-bullying campaigns in the US and Indonesia.[11][12] Ray wrote Feel The Vibe, 2015, performed by Bob Sinclair (feat. Dawn Tallman), which hit #1 on the Billboard Dance Charts[13][14], #23 in the iTunes Italian Pop Charts[15], #11 on the Italian Pop charts, and earned a FIMI: Gold certification[16][17]. [18] The song was also featured on NRJ radio and made their Top Hit album for the year.[18][19] The music video HIDING (2015) features Ray Isaac and issues of same-sex electroshock therapy and forced marriage, and won several awards, including Best Music Video.[20][21][22] He also appeared in the dance blockbuster film, Dancin': It's On!, 2015, starring the winners of So You Think You Can Dance (US). [23][24]

Ray also tours and performs as a pop DJ, playing pop house remixes with often brooding tribal undertones. [25][23]
