Israeli Ju Jitsu ...

Israeli Ju Jitsu is a lethal close quarters combat/martial art system designed to defend against real-world physical threats. Not practiced as a sport, IJJ combines striking elements of Krav Maga, joint locks and throws of traditional Japanese Ju Jitsu, and grappling and ground based maneuvers of Brazilian Ju Jitsu. Training involves single and multiple attacker scenarios.

The philosophy behind Israeli Ju Jitsu is to be as efficient and effective as necessary. Pure Krav Maga is brutal and devastating, leaving the opponent with severe and sometimes lethal injuries. The primary goal in IJJ is not to cause unnecessary injury, but to neutralize the attacker and control the situation.

Developed in Israel by Master Mati Elyashiv and Sensei Roy Elghanayan over the past twenty years, IJJ practitioners have served as some of the top CQC/KM Instructors for the Israel Defense Forces.
