Kevin Snead (born November 22, 1991) Was a American football wide receiver. Today he resides in Richmond, Virginia as a free agent. He played college football at Carson-Newman in Richmond, Virginia and was signed by the Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2017. He was formerly a track & field athlete before taking on football. One of his greatest achievements was his astonishing 6.73 second personal record in the 60 meters dash[2].

Early life[edit]

Kevin was born in Richmond, Virginia, and still lives there to this day. He attended George Wythe high school during his childhood. Kevin posses extraordinary speed, allowing him to score outstandingly fast personal records. Kevin displayed his phenomenal speed at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships where he achieved 20.87 seconds in a 200 meter sprint. Kevin also showed promise as an athlete in his early life when he sprinted a 100 meters in an astounding 10.21 seconds at the Aggie Last Chance meet on May 15, 2016.

College career[edit]

Kevin's track & field achievements ended up getting him recognized by the US Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association of America[3]. The organization named him 'the fastest man in college football'. Snead was also awarded with an "All-America honors" award for his 100 and 200-meter school records. Snead's incredible speed has the capability to make him the 'fastest man in the league' according to an article by The Spring League[4]. Snead eventually went to try out for the New York Giants, and was signed by them[5] after the tryouts. Kevin's athletic lifestyle ended up causing him a leg injury later in his career that ultimately caused him to get waived from the New York Giants. Snead has an immense potential to become one of the fastest men in the NFL from what he has shown so far. He also has the potential to become a cornerback aside from being a wide receiver. Despite his talent, his one weakness is that he does not have too much experience in football[6] because he was mainly a track athlete prior to playing football.

Professional career[edit]

New York Giants[edit]

Kevin was signed by the Giants as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2016[7]. He was waived by the Giants due to a leg injury and he is currently a free agent.
