Raphaé Memon is a British designer who works between the disciplines of architecture and stage design, as well as graphic communication, teaching and research. He graduated in 2017 from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, London.[1] His BA(Hons) Architecture design project from Manchester School of Architecture was awarded the Steacy-Greenaway Prize, the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award, and nominated for the prestigious RIBA Presidents Bronze Medal.[2]

Raphaé is a RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant at BDP in London. Alongside architecture, he is Resident Graphic Designer and Media Producer at The Talentz Musical Theatre Company in Kent.[3] Raphaé is the stage designer for the upcoming opera Polyeucte, which will have its UK premiere in London in March 2018 at Theatre Royal Stratford East.[4]

Raphaé took part in WeAreHere, the UK-wide performance event directed by Jeremy Deller and Rufus Norris Director of the National Theatre. His performance credits include: Nomadic School, at the Homo Novus Festival of Contemporary Theatre in Riga, Latvia;[5][6] and Playtime, at Manchester’s Cornerhouse.[7]
