Fractal Universe is a French Progressive Death Metal band from Nancy, signed on the label Metal Blade Records.

Biography[edit]

Fractal Universe was founded in late 2014 in Nancy.

With the release of its first EPBoundaries of Reality in 2015, the band starts to play shows in France and Europe, sharing the stage with artists such as The Black Dahlia Murder or Monuments and playing Motocultor Festival in 2016.

After the release of its first album, Engram of Decline in April 2017[1],[2], the band tours for about 80 shows all over Europe in 2017 and 2018, including an appearance at Hellfest[3].

The band's sophomore album, Rhizomes of Insanity is released on April 19th 2019[4],[5],[6] via Metal Blade Records. It benefits from major press exposure (Rock Hard, Metal Injection, Metal Sucks, Gear Gods...) and enables the band to open for various renown artists throughout the year (Whitechapel, The Black Dahlia Murder, Cannibal Corpse...).
