Ron Kingston is an Australian R&B soul singer, songwriter and artist from Melbourne, Australia. His first album ‘Illustrated’ was recorded with renowned sound engineer and producer Harry Williamson in 1998 in which all 11 songs were written by Ron Kingston. Only 2 commerical singles were released from the album including ‘Today is Tomorrow's Yesterday’ and ‘Varanasi's Tides’ in which he won Australian songwriters Association awards for both songs respectively.

Prior to his first album release Ron Kingston performed both nationally and internationally with bands Vogon Poetry, Feel and Music Solution. Kingston also performed in New York and played with bands at some of Manhattan's clubs. In 2000 Ron Kingston began performing in Asia and has performed in over 15 countries including Hong Kong, Bahrain, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Brazil and India. Kingston’s second album entitled Ron Kingston was released in 2003. His first single from the album Love Bible was released in South Korea through BMG in 2004 but gained more attention for its provocative and controversial music video which was produced by Empire Films Australia. The second single Room 922 was released and became widely popular amongst many in Asia.

Kingston continues to write and perform at festivals, resorts & venues around the world and has performed in front of music icons such as Marcus Miller, The Stylistics, Kool and the Gang, Joe, The Roots, Air Supply, Candy Dulfer and Alice Cooper. Kingston performed in Bahrain in the Gulf for US, British and Australian soldiers serving in neighbouring Iraq and Kuwait in 2008. In 2009, Ron Kingston recorded his next single Make It Up To You and in 2010 released his first live album titled Unplugged in Hong Kong.
