From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello! I am Procession. A quick look at my talk page[[1]] reveals that I was mistaken for a sockpuppet; however, after submitting an exhaustive report with irrefutable proof that such is not the case, all such allegations have been expunged - I am redeemed!

After working in a number of diverse fields, I've returned to school to continue my education. I am currently a student of Religious Studies at the University of California, Riverside. My specific interests include:

  • the intersection of religion and popular culture
  • the engagement of religion in the capitalistic context
  • Progressive social gospel
  • Vedanta
  • Modern American religious traditions
  • class structure, social upheaval, and the communal response
  • the sociology of religion
  • As a student, I am usually neck-deep in reading and writing. Assignments notwithstanding, I hope to integrate myself into the Wikipedia community when I find the time, in order to contribute meaningfully to those subjects into which I have any unique insight or knowledge. I look forward to participating in lively and thought-provoking debates with all of you. Pages that I am currently interested in: • Manifestations of God
List of people who have been considered deities
    Apotheosis
