Prasad SN is an Indian Film Music Composer and Singer.He made his debut in Tamil film industry through Yaamirukka Bayame in 2014.

Early Life: :-

Prasad was born on 28th June 1985. He did his schooling in Chennai and Coimbatore. After schooling, he pursued Computer science engineering in Hindustan college of engineering, chennai. His college mates include 'Naanum Rowdy Thaan' director Vignesh Shivan, Flutist Naveen Iyer, Guitarist Keba Jeremiah, RS Prasanna(Director of the film Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan) and were all part of the college musical team. 

After graduation, Prasad worked in IT for 3 years. In 2009, something sparked inside him. Whatever music he was into, wasn't enough for him. So he decided to go full fledged with his musical career and joined "Music composition & Music production" in AR Rahman's KM Music Conservatory. 

Career:

Music Composer :-

After finishing the course in 2011, He started scoring music for Commercials(Ads). Currently Prasad has scored music for  more than 500 Ads. His famous ads include Amazon MI week Ad, Lakshmi Silver Ad featuring Anushka, Power soap Ad and Jeyachandran textiles Ad with Kajal Aggarwal, I-Steel Ad, etc. He also composed music for the famous YouTube channel PutChutney in many videos, specifically the 'Ctrl Alt Del' web series which got him great accolades. 

In the year 2014, Prasad signed his first feature film 'Yaamirukka Bayame'. It was directed by Deekay. Deekay & Prasad worked together in one of the Ads during earlier days. Yaamirukka Bayame is first of its kind film on that genre. Its music was highly appreciated and critically acclaimed as it must strike a right balance between horror and comedy. Director Shankar, KV Anand & music director Harris Jeyaraj mentioned highly about the movie's background score particularly. 'Vellai Pandhu' song from the movie was a big hit in music channels and radio. It was among 2014's top songs in all the lists. During its audio launch, it was trending in itunes tamilnadu continuously for three days ahead of big movies. 

Upcoming Projects:

His second film is 'Veera' in which he scored Background Music. It is yet to hit the screens. He is working on his third feature now. 

Singer :-

Even before deciding he'll be a music director, Prasad was into singing. He sang background vocals for AR Rahman in VTV, Harris Jeyaraj in Thuppakki, 

White Octaves :-

Prasad also runs a company called "White Octaves", which provides a 9 to 5 job opportunity with monthly income for budding musicians.
