"2 Die 4" is a song performed by Swedish singer and songwriter Tove Lo. It was released on 27 July 2022 as the third single from Lo's fifth studio album, Dirt Femme (2022).
Composition[edit]
"2 Die 4" is an electropop and dance song.[1][2] It features a sample of "Popcorn" by Hot Butter (1972).
Critical reception[edit]
Katie Bain of Billboard praised the "lush" production of the song, and said that the "modern electro-pop" sample of "Popcorn" was "a triumph of the [dance] genre".[1] Also writing for Billboard, Stephen Daw called "2 Die 4" a "stunning dance track" suited for nightclubs. He also commended the "euphoric" production and Lo's "stacked" vocals.[2]
