Joe Wesley McDaniel (July 2, 1934 – January 27, 2020) was an athletic coach and administrator.

Career[edit]
Upon his retirement from Centre after the 1997 season, he was the winningest head coach in program history, with a final record of 101 wins, 63 losses, and 3 ties.[1]

McDaniel was named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference coach of the year three times: in 1989, 1990, and 1995.[2]
