This is a list of the members of the last Parliament of Scotland from 1703, following the general election held in autumn 1702, to the Act of Union 1707.

Membership[edit]

The members of Parliament comprised the peers of Scotland; the Commissioners to represent the barons of the various shires; the Commissioners to represent the royal burghs; and some of the Officers of State, who were members ex officio. The office of Lord High Treasurer was in commission at this time, but one of the commissioners was nominated to vote as Lord High Treasurer in Parliament.[1]

The Parliament was unicameral: all the representatives of the estates sat in the same House.

The Sovereign (Queen Anne) was represented by a Lord High Commissioner. During this period the Lord High Commissioners were:
