User:Neparis/XAD (resins)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

XAD is the trade name of a series of highly absorbent polymeric resins manufactured by Rohm and Haas Corp., which are useful in the sample collection of organic materials, particularly for monitoring pollutants in gas streams from industrial processes. Amberlite XAD-2, for example, is a macroreticular, styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer with a sponge-like structure.[1]
