The Jigsaw Seen are an indie rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1988. Founded by guitarist Jonathan Lea and lead singer Dennis Davison, the group's current lineup was completed in 1993 with the addition of bass guitarist Tom Currier and drummer Teddy Freese. The group has recorded and released seven albums, five EPs, and six singles since their debut single Jim Is The Devil in 1989.

The Jigsaw Seen has received numerous awards and accolades throughout their lengthy career. In 2001, Jonathan Lea was nominated as Art Director for the Grammy Award for Best Recording Package for the group's album Zenith. In 2007, the Jigsaw Seen's cover of Scott Walker's "30 Century Man" was featured as part of the soundtrack for Futurama: Bender's Big Score.

The group also has an association with former Kinks guitarist Dave Davies, who provided vocals for a track on the group's 2011 album Winterland, and with whom Lea, Currier, and Freese have toured. Lea and Currier presently tour with Davies, along with Smithereens drummer Dennis Diken.

While continuing to produce music together frequently, The Jigsaw Seen's members do not often record together, with Lea and Davison recording their parts in Los Angeles before Currier and Freese add their parts from their homes in New York City and Italy respectively. The band tours across the United States, and has scheduled upcoming tour dates for spring 2017.
