Family entertainment was the only claim to fame Holloway had until she was cast in a production by Frankie Burkes-Magee titled A Lie Don't Care Who Tell It months before the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. After relocating to North Carolina, Holloway declined the opportunity to continue in her character of Sage, due to travel limitations. A turn in the lifestyle that teenagers were taking inspired Holloway to begin writing and now with her third stage play under her belt and counting, Schelle Holloway is making a name for herself in the stage play industry.

With the help of the school custodian Mr. Clem they open the hearts and minds of the students, Before the Bell Rings. My Marriage, A Good Mess(2009) is a dinner theatre production written and directed by Schelle Holloway as well. In Holloway’s current production Not In This House (2009), she takes her directing to the next level being mentored by James A. House (H.O.U.S.E. Theatre Arts Group) coining this gospel stage play as the "talk of 2010".
Schelle Holloway is starting a motivation speaker movement in 2010 with a mission to minister to the minds of teenage girls.
