Hi, you tagged the above for copyright violation. However, the vio has been committed only in the later revisions and so I've reverted it to a non-infringing version. You could do the same if you come across an article which is not copyvio in its earlier versions instead of bringing it all the way to WP:CP. As that page declares in the box, "Revert the page to a non-copyrighted version if you can. discussion of merger

Back in May you merged "Sky Burial" and "Tibetan Sky Burial." I think "Tibetan Sky Burial" should go back to being its own page, and "Sky Burial" should become a disambig page with refs to different cultures' specific practices, each of which should have its own page. Excellent use of the word(?) "cretinously" in a sentence. ;-) I don't have time to work on this right now; what would happen if we start by just reverting both pages now? The Sky Burial page has had a few VERY minor edits since the Tibetan page was merged into it, and of course, the Tibetan page has had no edits since it became a redirect.

I don't mean to disrespect the time & effort you put into merging them, but then again, I put a lot of [major procrastinatory] time & effort into the original Tibetan Sky Burial page......... :-)

Then when one of us has time, we can make a separate page for Zoroastrian Sky Burial, move the substantive info from Sky Burial to Zoroastrian Sky Burial, and turn Sky Burial into a disambig.

What do you think? If you agree, please go ahead and revert both pages, don't wait for another communication from me.

speedy deletion templates

It's generally a bad idea to change speedy deletion templates unless they were obviously a mistake. In general, CSDA7 ("non-notable") is easier to check than the other criterion, and so makes the speedy deletion process far simpler for the admin in question (a common rebuttal of the "spam" template is that the article just needs rewriting). Seems reasonable enough. If he removed the tags four or five times, you could also put him up on WP:AIV. I'm not sure what they'll do with him if he hasn't done anything since the last warning, but it's worth a shot. Mytildebang 03:55, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

STRUCTURAL CORRUPTION AND ORGANIZED CRIME IN THE CHILD PROTECTION SYSTEM

Thank you for the welcome to Wikipedia. After listening to the CBS Sunday Morning piece on Wikipedia I spent the rest of Sunday summarizing the Congressional Evidence book I wrote on organized crime in the child protection, mental health and social work systems. I did this because of the comments on the show about the need for quality articles. Whether it was "Perel" or someone else who rejected the article, among the reasons cited were that it was "nonsense" and did not have historical content. To be polite, neither of those observations have any correspondence to reality.

I own and run a business. I do not have time to monitor Wikipedia or invest anymore time attempting to justify an article that should never have been rejected in the first place. I am responding because someone who does monitor Wikipedia was nice enough to e-mail me that your "Welcome" and other comments had been posted on my talk page.

What I did do is write and mail a 12 page letter to the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Directors and key administrators. I also copied Larry Sanger because my experience confirms some of his criticisms. The issue of whether or not I should be treated as an expert is irrelevant. The fundamental problem is that Wikipedia does not have uniform protocols for distinguishing material that accurately describes reality from material which does not. That problem was solved by Sir Karl Popper about 1929. The United States Supreme Court adopted Popper's criteria in the landmark decision Daubert v. Merrel Dow Pharmaceuticals.

My field happens to be sociology of knowledge. I have made some advances in the field that are the basis of my business, including a holographic paradigm theory of the structure and function of social processes that allow social processes, including knowledge processes, to be described mathematically. The theory and mathematical descriptors took me about fourteen years to develop and confirm the logic. I know what I am talking about. I use methodology derived from what I developed to analyze evidence in criminal proceedings. Every case in which I personally did the evidence analysis that went to trial resulted in a "Not Guilty" verdict.

Could you please review some wrestling articles for me?

I've found out that you've been looking over some articles related to wrestling. I was wondering if you could please review them. I've been editing them over the past few months, either logged-in or logged-off on a public computer. Listed below are the articles I've been working on. I'm most concerned with writing style, and whether it's concise yet comprehensive, and free from any spelling and grammar errors.

• Wrestling - I didn't do much with this article, just added some a photo and elaborated the History section a bit. I also added a bit about Sambo to the article.
• Amateur wrestling - I didn't do much here either, but made it concise enough to be a "lead-in" for the more specific articles for the various wrestling styles. Yet sometimes it keeps getting vandalized. It may needed to be protected somehow.
• Greco-Roman wrestling - I added a History section, and elaborated the equipment, weight classes, scoring, and victory conditions sections of the article. I also made sure to cite the sections according to current FILA rules, as I did for the secondary and tertiary sources I used for the history section.
• Freestyle wrestling - Same additions and editing as with the Greco-Roman page.
• Collegiate wrestling - This, along with the Scholastic wrestling page, I consider to be my masterpiece, haha. I added a History section, and did the same as with the Greco-Roman and freestyle pages, only with even greater detail, since I had the NCAA wrestling rules with me. It is also appropriately cited.
• History of collegiate wrestling - I created this article after the History section I added to collegiate wrestling was getting too long. I then took the liberty of elaborating more on the history of American wrestling. Cited as well.
• Scholastic wrestling - I had to bring this article back from the dead, because the high school section on the collegiate wrestling page was getting too long. I added a history section, and tried to write text for the various sections so that it would look as close as possible to the text of the collegiate wrestling page. I also had the NFHS wrestling rules with me, so I made the specific changes as needed. Cited as well.

I also added some information to the article on FILA and created an article for USA Wrestling.
