From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mrmannyman2 (abreviated as MM2, also known as Mrmannyman and Mannyman, said mister-man-e-man-two) is a YouTube user who is known among "friends" to make low-budget parodies or spoofs of comic books or films involving superheroes, particularly those of Marvel comics. The company name is Comic Armageddon Productions, formerly Mrmannyman2 Productions, since the revival of early 2010. Mrmannyman2's current tagline is "Mrmannyman2 is dead, long live Comic Armageddon".

Mrmannyman2 began on the 15th of October 2007 when the creators had gained a suitable collection of action figures to create their videos. The first videos uploaded to their account were low-quality, six minute episodes based upon Spider-Man and his allies. They went on the create videos involving Wolverine, the Sinister Six, The Mummy and H.G. Wells' classic science fiction novel The War of the Worlds.

On the 15th of April, 2010, Mrmannyman2 posted a bulletin announcing the cancellation of the action figure videos. From then, the videos are to be made on the simulation game The Movies: Stunts and Effects. The videos planned include adaptations of H. G. Wells' science fiction novels The War of the Worlds and The Time Machine, dark versions of Marvel comics stories and ada[tations of Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes novels.

The Adventures of Spider-Man (2007)[edit]

The first videos Mrmannyman2 created were based around the Spider-Man comics and the widely popular film series. In the videos, Spidey would be involved in unusual situations with villains like Green Goblin, Venom or Doc Ock. The series met it's end when the creators removed the videos because of their poor quality and "lazy" plots. Popular demand has regularly requested the return of Spider-Man, but these suggestions have been repeatedly declined.

Wolverine (2007-08)[edit]

Season 1[edit]

Better quality vidoes would follow, which featured the X-Men. The series seemed to have a better response from fellow users. The first episodes showed Wolverine fighting with Captain America in the Second World War against a German Nazi scientist. He would then be invloved in the Weapon X project, in which he gained an adumantium coat over his bones. The later episodes would be parodies of the X-Men film and it's sequel X-Men 2.

X-Men United[edit]

The first major plot of the series, the ten-part saga respectfully spoofed the film X-Men 2. Wolverine returns to the X-Mansion to be reunited with Professor Xavier, in search for lost memories. Xavier is kidnapped by William Stryker (who appeared as an anti-mutant midget resembling the Dexter character from Dexter's Laboratory). United with the X-Men (including new recruits Nightcrawler and Gambit) and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Wolverine infiltrates Weapon X, defeats Lady Deathstrike and leaves Stryker for dead. The Brotherhood escape and the X-Men return unharmed. This was the first part of the series which featured Best of You by Foo Fighters as it's main theme.

Seasons 3 &4[edit]

A third and forth series were scheduled but then cancelled for reasons forgotten.

Series 3: Cosmic Carnage[edit]

The plot for Wolverine season 3: Cosmic Carnage would involve fascist dictator Dr. Doom, allied with Green Goblin, Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike (currently Sabretooth's girlfriend) and Juggernaut, with a plan to steal the Silver Surfer's surfboard and use the serial-killer Carnage as a guinea pig to see if Doom himself can survive standing on the board. After being hypnotized by Dr Doom to try and kill Wolverine, the whole X-Men team would team up with Spider-Man, Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and even Kraven the Hunter to fight the villains in Doom's home city Hattenstadt, Latveria. The story would end with Carnage gaining the Surfer's powers, leaving Wolverine to ally with Doom to save New York from destruction via a black hole. Carnage and Doom would both fall into the black hole to their deaths.

Series 4: The Last Stand[edit]

The forth series, entitled Wolverine: The Last Stand or Wolverine: Rise of the Archangel would be a parody of X-Men 3, replacing the character Jean Grey with Mrmannyman2's homosexual version of Angel, becoming the Archangel instead of Jean's Dark Phoenix. Wolverine and Ghost Rider would team up to rescue Captain America from a Neo-Nazi, before becoming involved in Magneto's plot to release Angel's hidden, evil entity. Angel would attend a villain meeting, accidentally killed by the Scorpion, before coming back as the Archangel and supposedly murdering Professor X. The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants would infiltrate the White House and try to assassinate president Barrack Obama, but he would be rescued by the Avengers. It turns out that before Professor X could be incinerated by Archangel, he teleported to Scotland for safety. Wolverine would bravely confront Archangel and kill him (in the same manner as the character kills Jean in X-Men 3). Humanity would be saved, Magneto would be removed of his powers and the Brotherhood locked away.

Sinister Six (2008)[edit]

The villains Green Goblin, Mysterio, Venom, Sandman, Scorpion and Kraven the Hunter would form an unsuccessful supervillain team that would often be in conflict with Dr. Doom or other notable villains. The series was cancelled when the creators simply lost interest.

Movie[edit]

A Sinister Six movie was planned but never went into production. As to whether or not it will be produced in the future is unconfirmed.

Sinister Six: Rise of the Silver Surfer would be a parody of the film Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and would feature the Sinister Six, though still villains, as the protagonists alongside Luke Cage and the Silver Surfer. The Surfer arrives to Earth and is investigated by the Six. As the Green Goblin and Mysterio plan to quit the team and Venom becomes a public icon, Doctor Doom returns with a plan to steal the Surfer's board and spread his Latverian empire over the world. Meanwhile, the Surfer's employer, Galactus travels through space to get to it's new food source, Earth, but is caught in a gridlock.

The War of the Worlds (2008)[edit]

Main article: The War of the Worlds.

Mrmannyman2 produced a musical adaptation of H.G. Wells' story, but it contained entirely the audio of Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. A character named Wells (named after the author) would race for his life when Martians invaded Earth, driving massive Tripods. He would meet an artilleryman and a parson and witness the final battle between the HMS Thunderchild and the aliens.

Wolverine: The Movie (2008)[edit]

In 2008, a feature-length episode was released that involved all of the Mrmannyman2 characters. The film was a spoof of The Mummy and Steven Spielberg's film War of the Worlds. The film also had a resemblance to the video game Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

S.H.I.E.L.D. sends a group of superheroes led by Wolverine to travel to Egypt in search for the mythical city Hamunaptra and the book of the dead. Among them are a team of villains led by Wolverine's enemy Rey Mysterio, Jr.. Rey resurrects Apocalypse, an undead mummy and the most powerful Mutant in the world. He attempts to take over the world and makes a pact with a race of Martians who invade the planet and annihilate humans with their Heat-Rays. Wolverine leads an army of heroes to fight the new masters of evil in Egypt, and Captain America plays the role of Tom Cruise's War of the Worlds character and tries to reunite with Professor X as humanity faces extinction. Eventually, the Mummy is defeated by the combined powers of the X-Men and the aliens are killed by earthly bacteria. After the credits, a downed Tripod lays wrecked in the ruins of London, but it's eyes flicker, leaving the suggestion that some of the aliens survived.

Characters[edit]

  • Logan/Wolverine, new recruit of the Avengers, and one of the first heroes to discover Apocalypse, soon leading an army of heroes to defeat him and his army of villains. Wolverine is seen in the first part of the film in the role of Rick O'Connell.
  • Steve Rogers/Captain America, Avengers leader and participent of the Hamunaptra mission. He is left in New York with Rogue and Harry Osborn when aliens invade the earth. Captain America's role is close to Rey Ferrier's role in War of the Worlds.
  • En Saba Nur/Apocalypse, a mummified mutant from the Ancient Egyptian age. He is ressurected via the Book of the Dead and makes a pact with Martians.
  • Professor X, leader of the X-Men.
  • The Martians, a race of extraterrestrials that invade earth and wipe out much of humanity. They are based on the invaders of H. G. Wells' novel The War of the Worlds and it's 2005 film adaptation.

SHIELD Avengers (2009)[edit]

A spin-off to Wolverine was planned and lasted only three episodes, before the ideas became "far-fetched". Captain America and Iron Man would be the main characters. Two episodes would be a sequel to Wolverine: The Movie, when a single Martian (resembling those in the 1953 War of the Worlds film) teams up with Mysterio to stage another invasion, before it would be killed by the Avengers. The series finale would be a parody of The Asylum's film War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave, in which new Martians invade the planet but are defeated by SHIELD. These episodes would also have resemblances to the 1988 War of the Worlds TV series.

Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD[edit]

A three-part show was written and filmed, but due to complications in production, the idea was cancelled. The show would be from the perspective of a young Nick Fury during the 1947 Roswell UFO incident. The World War 2 hero would become sergeant, though he is ordered not to investigate the mysterious crashing of a "Flying saucer" in New Mexico. Concerned that SHIELD is keeping vital information from him, Fury infiltrates Area 51, only to discover an extra-terrestrial (resembling those seen in the film Independence Day) is being tortured and questioned by SHIELD agents. Outraged, the alien escapes, kills SHIELD's director and plans to go back to it's ship and request to it's leaders an invasion of Earth. Fury would kill the alien and become SHIELD's director, today still searching the sky for any alien threats. The trailer could be seen on Mrmannyman2's account and featured the song A Beautiful Lie by 30 Seconds to Mars.

Indiana Jones[edit]

Up to three episodes of this show were uploaded and made via the computer game The Movies: Stunts and Effects. It was based on the Indiana Jones film series and it's characters. Indiana Jones and his father would face Nazis (sometimes Adolf Hitler himself), Soviet Russians and extraterrestrials, often becoming invloved in old relics like the Ark of the Covenant, the Holy Grail or the Crystal Skulls.

Future[edit]

Mrmannyman2 is currently planning adaptations of two of H.G. Wells' most famous novels, War of the Worlds and The Time Machine. There are also thoughts of a dark re-imagining of Marvel comics characters.

Science-fiction & fantasy[edit]

The War of the Worlds (The Movies Stunts and Effects)[edit]

A remake of the War of the Worlds series will air in 2010. It is produced via the computer game The Movies: Stunts and Effects. It is a modernized but faithful film version of H. G. Wells' novel of the same name. The film centres around a British college student named George Wells, whose hometown Woking is hit by a cylinderic object. A day later, Wells' begins a race to Leatherhead in an attempt to reunite with his wife when Martians invade the planet, driving massive Tripods. The film also focuses on a soldier, Kerry Williams, who is based on the Artilleryman character of the novel.

The film bears a lot of strong resemblances to the novel, but it is also loosely based on the 2005 Asylum film H. G. Wells' War of the Worlds. It also incorporates elements from the film's sequel War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave, as well as Stephen Spielberg's 2005 adaptation, the 1953 film and some original ideas. The science fiction/disaster film will feature the song Desert Song by My Chemical Romance and the single Forever Autumn which appeared on Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds musical.

The film is accurate to Wells' original novel, with the only major differences being the shift in time and the names given to the previously unnamed characters. The film is also set to feature humans as primary antagonists towards the end of the film. It seems that the film focuses more on the human reactions and panic to the invasion than the aliens themselves. The Martians are seen mostly as a psychological threat to the main characters, while pressing the invasion plot of attacking the British army and succeeding in worldwide nvasion.

Characters of War of the Worlds[edit]
  • George Herbert Wells, the film's central protagonist and narrator. He is a college student working under Ogilvy. He has been through marital problems with his wife Catherine, who is currently clearing her head at her cousin's home. George attempts to reach her again when the first cylinder hatches the first of the Martian army. He plays the role of the book's unnamed narrator. George's name is a referance to H. G. Wells.
  • Sgt. Kerry Williams, the films secondary protagonist and eventual antagonist. He is a young English soldier who meets and befriends George at the first landing site. After his squad is killed in action, he accompanies George, before being seperated and joining another squad. He is chosen to activate a top-secret government weapon known as the Thunder Child, and draws plans to build a fascist-based civilisation when mankind falls to the invaders. He is based on the Artilleryman character of the novel. His name is taken from the same character in the Asylum film adaptation.
  • Curate Nathaniel, a Curate whom George meets during the Martians' advance into London. He is convinced that the events happening are Apocalyptic events predicted in the Bible. He is seen mostly as scared of "God's judgement", and accompanies George, despite the fact that George grows tired of his company. His faith is put to test during an ordeal in a ruined house. He is based on the Curate character in the book.
  • The Martians, an extraterrestrial race with powerful intellects and technology far in advance of humans. Due to the poor environment of Mars, these aliens invade the Earth and attempt to wipe out mankind to preserve their own race. They drive their Tripod fighting-machines armed with a superpowered Heat-Ray.
  • Ogilvy and Henderson, George's boss and his friend, the local journalist. They are the first to discover the first British cylinder in Woking - and the first victims of the aliens. They are loosely based on the characters of the same name in the book.
  • Lt. Samuelson, an aggressive and vengeful Lieutenant whom Kerry meets twice. He is loosely based on a lieutenant who briefly appears in the book, but is mostly inspired by the Lt. Samuelson character in the Asylum film adaptation.

H.G. Wells' The Time Machine (The Movies: Stunts and Effects)[edit]

Mrmannyman2 is producing a film adaptation of H. G. Wells' "scientific romance" novel The Time Machine. It focuses on a scientist who tells his friends, including H. G. Wells himself, on the night of the 31st of October 1899 about his adventures through time. Alexander Doyle, aka the Time Traveller, after two years of investigating the fourth dimension has built a machine that can transport oneself in any point in history, or future history. Crash landing in the year 802,701, Wells discovers a future in which the world has been reduced to a tropical stone age following Apocalyptic events in the 21st century. In the jungles of London, Doyle befriends a benevolent tribe, the Eloi, and their sinister "farmers", the Morlocks.

The film very closely follows the events of the original novel, with the only major differences being that the main characters have names and it discovers reasons why the future is far from "futuristic". The film also includes 20th century and 21st century events, such as World War One, World War Two, the Cold War and War on Terror. It treats the book as if it is based on a true story, and H. G. Wells wrote the book to depict the event he witnessed.

Characters[edit]
  • Alexander Doyle/The Time Traveller, the main protagonist of the film, recalling his adventures through time to his friends.
  • H. G. Wells, a friend of Alexander, for whom he wrote his novel The Time Machine.

Sherlock Holmes (The Movies: Stunts and Effects)[edit]

A line of films also produced on The Movies will be released. The films are based on the Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson characters from the popular 19th-20th century novel series by British writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

The detective series, inspired by Guy Ritchie's 2009 film adaptation and the low-budget 2010 film adaptation, will follow classic adventures from Conan Doyle's stories and brand new adventures of the crime-fighting duo, which will incorporate elements from the classic stories and various other media.

Conan Doyle adaptations[edit]

Most of the Sherlock Holmes stories will be based on Arthur Conan Doyle's original stories. The plots will be altered to include action sequences and some new content. The first story will be based on the first Sherlock Holmes story, the short novel A Study in Scarlet, in which Holmes and Watson befriend eachother, move into 221B Baker Street and begin the adventures they are destined to endure together, before linking a series of murders notable for the blood-written word "RACHE". This will be the first adaptation of Sherlock Holmes.

The Whitechapel Murders[edit]

One of the stories expected to be produced is one based on the cases of the notorious Jack the Ripper, also known as the Leather Apron or the Whitechapel murderer, who brutally murdered five prostitutes in London and his identity was never confirmed. The film will explore theories (involving actual suspects) in a fictional story involving Holmes, Watson, Lestrade and real-life investigators of the Whitechapel murders.

Other[edit]

Another will involve occultists (inspired by the Lord Blackwood character of the 2009 film) disguised as clergymen commiting crimes across London with a plan to overthrow Queen Victoria.

Characters[edit]

Marvellous Men of Marvel: The Last Stand - The Final Mrmannyman2 Marvel Movie[edit]

Mrmannyman2 doesn't want to send it's audience home unhappy, so is working on a final action figure video to say goodbye to that genre. It will show the final battle between good and evil and let the audience know what happens next.

The plot closely follws that of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and X-Men: The Last Stand, with some similarities to Watchmen. It has been a year since The Alliance, an army of superheroes, assembled once again to fight Galactus, in a battle that claimed the life of Angel. Dr. Doom has been hiding in London after being kicked out of office as President of Latveria, kills Iron Fist and gains supernatural abilities after killing Mephisto. Angel comes back from the dead as the Archangel (in a similar way to how Jean Grey came back as the Phoenix), and joins an army of supervillain led by Doom. The Alliance bands together to fight the ultimate, final battle against the villains.

Characters[edit]
  • Logan/Wolverine, current leader of the X-Men. He is the film's central character, next to Captain America, Professor X, Thor and Dr. Doom.
  • Steve Rogers/Captain America, ground leader of the Alliance, and secondary protagonist.
  • Peter Parker/Spider-Man
  • Thor, the norse God of Thunder and son of Odin.
  • Professor X, the X-Men leader who predicts the war through Archangel's dreams.
  • Warren Worthington/Angel/Archangel, who died fighting Galactus. He comes back as the Archangel, and joins Doom's alliance of evil.
  • Victor Von Doom/Dr. Doom, former President of Latveria, who has been presumed dead for about year, having been hiding in London. He murders Iron Fist, triggering the "end of the superhero".
  • Nick Fury, leader of the Alliance.
  • Blackheart/the Antichrist, son of Mephisto and right-hand man of Doom.
  • Erik Lensherr/Magneto, the Brotherhood leader and right-hand man of Doom, who doesn't trust the Archangel, knowing what he's capable of.
  • Harry Osborn/New Goblin

The Mummy: Spoof[edit]

Spoof comedy is also on it's way. The first of these spoofs will be one based on the Mummy franchise. The plot mainly stems from The Mummy, but also incorporates elements from it's sequel The Mummy Returns and the spin-off film The Scorpion King.

The protagonist of the film is Dick O'Donnel (based on the character Rick O'Connell), who joins in the search for an ancient Egyptian city, Hamunaptra. He and his companion soon dig up and give life to the mummy of the cursed Imhotep. As Imhotep regenerates, he threatens to take control of the Scorpion King's armies and rule the world. The film will include jokes towards modern culture, such as British politics and the 2008 recession, as well as jokes towards the Mummy films themselves.

Marvel adaptations (The Movies)[edit]

Mrmannyman2 is set to create a dark re-imagining of the Marvel universe. The films will feature versions of the original characters in more agressive versions of the storylines, as opposed to most versions which make the stories more suitable for families. This is similar to what Tim Burton did to the "campy" Batman characters in his 1989 film Batman.

Deadpool and Weasel (series)[edit]

A series based on the Deadpool character is set to be made via the Movies game. The series will feature Deadpool as the primary protagonist and Weasel as his sidekick, a duo of vigilantes fighting supervillain crime across the world, and avoiding capture by S.H.I.E.L.D.

Deadpool will be similarly wise-cracking like his comic counterpart, but his personality will be fairly similar to that of Rorshach from Watchmen, patient and neutral at times, and angry and vengeful at others. He is seen as more of a gun expert than a swordsman. Weasel is drastically different to his comic counterpart. Instead of weak, nerdy and clumsy, he is as physically active as Deadpool, aiding him in his battles. He is also a great expert at computers.

The first villain the characters are likely to face is Arcade, an insane criminal mastermind with a funfair-themed hideout known as Murderworld. Deadpool and his companion are tracking down a terrorist when they stumble upon the "land of fun and assassination" and the "freak show".

Confirmed characters[edit]
  • Wade Wilson/Deadpool, a wise-cracking but dark vigilante armed with an arsenal of weaponry. He turned to Weapon X to cure his cancer, giving him a concentrated healing factor, but also giving him horrific scars, leaving him to wear a mask in public. He now acts as a lethal protector and is wanted for the murders of many criminals and terrorists. He feels strongly about equality and justice. He is also a master of disguise, comparing himself to Sherlock Holmes, and can seemingly "teleport", though he has to be out of someone's sight to do this.
  • Jack Hammer/Weasel, a computer wizard and fugitive hunted by S.H.I.E.L.D.. He is the brains of the operation, with extensive knowledge on computers and military operations. He is a ladies man (unlike his "dorky" comic counterpart). This version of the character is loosely inspired by the Aizen Teppa character from the manga series Grenadier.
  • Arcade, an insane criminal genius with a largely unknown background; nobody even knows his real name. He is the creator of many psychotic deathtraps in his underground maze of death, Murderworld.
  • Frederick Dukes/The Blob, a morbidly overweight human with superhuman strength. He is part of Arcade's "freak show".
  • Bullseye, a psycopathic villain with an extremely accurate aim. His real name is unknown. He is part of the "freak show".

Spider-Man: The Dark Story Untold[edit]

Mrmannyman2 is using The Movies to adapt the Spider-Man characters into a much darker, contempory re-imagining. Whereas the hero's origins are very much the same, the character Peter Parker is portrayed as an emo, not a nerd. He is given super abilities after a bite from a mutated spider, so takes up a career in stunts for a film company. Military scientist Herman Schultz (who later becomes The Shocker) robs the film studio and murders Peter's beloved uncle. Peter controls his abilities and vows vengeance against the Shocker. He also has to face Mysterio and the Lizard.

The character of Spider-Man is much unlike that of the comic books. Instead of a nerd, Peter Parker is more like an emo. He is bitten by a mutated spider, which renders him into a coma. When he gains his powers, he uses them in a stunt career, instead of wrestling as in the books. He appears in Quinten Beck's film Mysterio: Master of Illusion, as a stunt double. He wears a red hoodie and skinny jeans instead of the traditional spider-suit, and actually wants to use his powers to take revenge, and kill the Shocker. The film's version of the character is similar to the darker heroes Batman and Rorschach. His portrayal as an anti-hero differs much from the comics' character. He is also in a relationship with the young, gothic female X-Man Rogue.

Herman Schultz is an enraged but highly intelligent military scientist who designs a hand-held weapon that can emit a violent sonic boom that is proposed to be used in the War on Terror. He takes up a life of crime and robs Quinten Beck of his wealth during the filming of Mysterio. Peter refuses to stop Schultz's efforts due to an unsatisfactory payment. Because of his inaction, Schultz is able to murder Peter's uncle. Peter makes an outfit and tracks down Schultz with an intention of killing him. Schultz uses his "sonic gloves" to commit several murders and robberies across New York and is dubbed "the Shocker".

Quinten Beck's career is ruined by the robbery and his film studio becomes bankrupt. In outrage, he takes up the suit of his character Mysterio and becomes a local terrorist. He intends to kill the Shocker for ruining his career, and Spider-Man for letting him do so. A costume on the Movies game closely resembles how Mysterio appeared on the Spider-Man 2 video game.

The Lizard also appears. Curt Connors is seen as a nuclear scientist with a mental illness instead of being an amputee. He tries to "cure" his disorder with radioactive reptile DNA, but he transforms into a giant reptile with a taste for human flesh. Upon learning that the Lizard is in fact his friend, Peter tries to find a means of controlling and curing the Lizard, testing his desire to kill the Shocker.

Characters[edit]
  • Peter Parker/Spider-Man: An emotionally unstable college student who is given spider-like abilities when he is bitten by a radioactive spider. He vows revenge on the Shocker for killing his uncle.
  • Herman Schultz/The Shocker: A criminal genius who is forced into working for the United States military. He builds sonic devices and kills Ben Parker, and also makes an enemy of Quinten Beck.
  • Anna Marie/Rogue: A mutant girl with the ability to take other powers for a short time. She falls in love with Peter at the college and soon becomes his superhero companion.
  • Quinten Beck/Mysterio: A film director-turned supervillain. When Herman Schultz ruins Beck's business, he takes up the costume of his film character "Mysterio - The Master of Illusion" and vows vengeance.
  • Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard: A veteran and scientist who once worked in Iraq during the Gulf War. A shell blew up next to him during the war, which left him with Post traumatic stress syndrome. He tries to cure his illness with reptile DNA, only to transform into a monster.
Sequel[edit]

There will also be a second film, which will include new villains, including Michael Morbius, Venom and Electro, and new allies including Blade, Doctor Strange, the Punisher, Daredevil and Nightcrawler. The plot will have similarities to Spider-Man 3.

In the film, Peter will stumble upon Morbius' scheme to use occult magic to transform part of the human population into fellow vampires. He will also succumb to a extraterrestrial symbiote which increases his emotional unstability, before budding off to bond with Eddie Brock, becoming Venom. Spider-Man will join a secret group of superheroes led by Doctor Strange, whose main objective is to make sure the vampire race doesn't pose a threat to the rest of humanity, but not to wipe them out. Vampires are portrayed in this film not as satanic monsters, but as a different string of humans evolved from homo sapiens, in a similar contrast to the mutant race. Although they're not satanic creatures, Morbius is very gothic, literally undead (having come back from Hell) and making a deal with with Mephistopheles, who is mistaken by humans as having created the vampires.

Characters[edit]
  • Steven Strange/Doctor Strange: A scientist with apparently magic abilities. He trained under the Ancient One alongside Dormammu, who betrayed them. He is now the leader of a secret group of superhumans.
  • Blade: A half vampire/half human creature whose mother was raped by a vampire. He currently works for Dr. Strange.
  • Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler: A young Catholic X-Man and stepbrother of Rogue. He can teleport over small distances and has acute hearing.
  • Matt Murdock/Daredevil: A blind lawyer and friend of Spider-Man. He had radioactive waste dumped into his eyes, which left him blind but heightened his other senses, becoming Daredevil. He currently works alongside Dr. Strange.
  • Frank Castle/The Punisher: A dark vigilante known for killing and torturing criminals in his war on crime. His family was killed by gangsters.
  • Michael Morbius: A 200+ year old vampire and college classmate of Peter and Rogue. He is a satanist secretly working for Mephisto.
  • Eddie Brock/Venom: A college student rivalling Peter and becoming his enemy. An alien symbiote that once possessed Spider-Man soon possesses him, transforming him into a vengeful, horrific monster.
  • Venom symbiote: An extraterrestrial parasite that lands to earth and bonds with Peter, making him more aggressive. When Peter rejects it, it senses Brock's similar hatred towards him, so chooses him as it's host.
  • Max Dillon/Electro: A young college student-turned-supervillain and friend of Eddie Brock. He was trapped in a particle collider and somehow survived to be able to generate and control electricity.
  • Mephistopheles/Satan: The Christian Devil and ruler of Hell. He accepts a deal with Morbius, making him an undead occultist. His portrayal is more of a presence that drives the plot, not a physical threat, similar to how he was portrayed in the film Ghost Rider.

Nick Fury: Agent of Area 51[edit]

A Cold War-themed film set in 1947 that features Nick Fury as a S.H.I.E.L.D.sergeant pursuing the female Soviet agent Black Widow in Roswell, New Mexico while the Roswell UFO incident occurs. Fury and the Black Widow join forces to defeat a team of killer aliens, the Skrulls, trying to recover the ruins of their crashed vessel.

The Day of Galactus[edit]

A film inspired by Marvel Comics' Galactus character, and the Asylum film The Day the Earth Stopped. An intergalactic force known as Gah Lak Tus that feasts on living planets ensnares the earth with a final challenge - show him the value of human life, or it shall devour the planet. A team of heroes including Professor X and Tony Stark attempt to reason with Galactus while Norrin Radd, Galactus' messanger

In this vision of the story, there is no Fantastic Four. Instead, the film's plot is closer to The Day the Earth Stopped. Whereas the original story saw Galactus as intending to eat the planet without any second thought, this version gives mankind a chance to reason with Galactus.

Galactus not a single physical being, but more of a presence. It commands a fleet of giant extraterrestrial robots piloted by his army. It is known as Gah Lak Tus by these aliens. It gives humanity 24 hours to give him a reason not to destroy the earth.

The Silver Surfer exists in some form, but not how he appears in the comics. Norrin Radd is Galactus's messenger, who appears as a man with supernatural abilities, much like he characters Skye and the Man in The Day the Earth Stopped. Though he doesn't bear any physical resemblance to his comic counterpart, he nevertheless goes through the same emotional stages of learning compassion for humanity. He doesn't, however, learn to turn his powers against Galactus as in the comics.

World War II[edit]

Magneto: Saviour of Mutant Kind[edit]

A World War II story will arrive to mrmannyman2, describing the experience of Erik Lensherr, aka Magneto. The film will first show of his survival of the Holocaust and murdering specific Nazi leaders who tortured him. The film will then shift to the 1960s, when he befriends Charles Xavier, the man destined to lead the X-Men. They begin to build a organisation of mutants with the vision of uniting humans and mutants. But then General Gyrich, a strong anti-mutant extremist, builds a group of giant robots known as the Sentinels to hunt and capture mutants. Magneto believes a kind of "Mutant Holocaust" hangs over the horizon, so Magneto begins the philosiphy of mutant supremecy and terrorism, and he and Charles begin to part ways and become enemies.

Scrutiny and criticism of blockbusters[edit]

Mrmannyman2, though admitting to be a fan, has often criticised and comically attacked superhero blockbusters. He often expresses his dislike of films like Superman Returns and Batman and Robin. Mrmannyman posts reviews on the official Mrmannyman2 - Comic Armageddon website. Mrmannyman2 has also harshly criticised Jason X, Zombies! Zombies! Zombies!, Watchmen and Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant.
