Early Life[edit]

Zachary McMinimy was born in Anaheim, California where he spent his first few years before relocating with his family to the Bay Area. In his early teens, he returned with his mother to Southern California where he was first exposed to hip hop culture through graffiti art and later DJing. He began rapping in high school and started recording and performing in 2006 under the alias, "Rhymesmith".

"Lethal Madness" & The Monday Lunch[edit]

In 2010, Gadzooks released "Lethal Madness", a song on which he collaborated with Kansas City rapper Mac Lethal. Hours after its release, the song aired on The Monday Lunch, a South Dakota radio program on 94.5 KCFS. Following its radio debut, "Lethal Madness" began gaining wide acclaim and was included on Mac Lethal's compilation album, "Special Reserve vol. 9".

Also in 2010, after continuing to get regular radio play, Gadzooks created a dedication song for The Monday Lunch, which was later made the theme song of the radio program and used as it's weekly introduction.
