If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Sodium polydihydroxyphenylene thiosulfonate, you may be blocked from editing. Don't use dubious Russian sources that are suspect of poor quality, misinformation, and misleading content. Wikipedia pharmacology and medical content relies on WP:MEDRS sources. The junk you provided for this article does not qualify under MEDRS. Zefr (talk) 19:08, 16 February 2022 (UTC)

Dietary supplements

[edit]

This is the Russian interwiki version of the discussion of the Valieva drug discussion which has a dedicated discussion here [1]. It might be useful to hear of your view of it if you can do the machine translation, or I could help with the translation if the machine translation does not work. The relevant drugs are not FDA approved, though some are prescribed by MD abroad. Since Valieva is Russian, she is being advised by Russian MD which might be relevant to the way the article is edited. Might be useful to hear your thoughts. A detailed discussion and some good points made, though might be difficult to copy that across here with the stricter referencing standards. It is certainly true that a lot of the compounds on the WADA banned list are pretty questionable when it comes to whether they would actually be capable of producing improved athletic peformance, and this seems especially so when there are only tiny trace amounts detected which almost certainly wouldn't have any significant effect. But that said, WADA's absolutist approach is well known and everyone knows the rules are strictly enforced regardless of whether this is justifiable or not. As has been mentioned in several discussions it is really the adults around Valieva who are at fault here, she had every right to assume that whatever "training supplements" she was being given by her coach and team doctor would at least not be something which would cause her to fall foul of the doping rules. Feel sorry for the girl really, especially considering her young age and obvious natural talent she has really been let down by people she should have been able to trust. ACT-539313 structure

[edit]

Hi! I found the same structure you drew on the web, but the (sourced) IUPAC name in the drugbox is missing the chlorine. Any idea which is the correct version? --ἀνυπόδητος (talk) 16:37, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

Good spotting. Hmm not sure actually, the references for this compound on PubMed are all clinical trials and don't have a structure image, and I have not found any discovery papers from J Med Chem or anything like that. The structure image I redrew was from here which I'm guessing is the same one you found, but it isn't a WP:RS for our purposes. I will look up the patent and see if that sheds any light but my guess is that both the chloro and non chloro versions will be in there and it won't have the code numbers to say which one is ACT-539313. Will see what else I can find. Meodipt (talk) 20:30, 12 May 2022 (UTC)

Yeah the patent is not that helpful either and does look like both the chloro and non chloro compounds are listed as examples but I'm thinking we have to go with what the name in the Br J Clin Pharmacol paper says, will draw it again without the chloro and re-upload. Hi

[edit]

Thank you very much for all your contribution! Particular thank for helping me to improve Template:Cannabinoids.

I'm in your age and I have dedicated a lot of energy in my life to entheogens, harm reduction, and documentation for psychoactive substances. I'm also a programmer. I'm an admin for PsychonautWiki and I'd like to get to know you. Our team consists of chemists, programmers, and a pharmacologist. Please join our Telegram group, PsychonautWiki Social (https://t.me/+TNUQrVOs4_9gd8Np), I'll find you if you type "beautiful day" in the group so I can search for the term at the end of the week, if you are interested in a chat. --Bawanio (talk) 02:19, 15 September 2022 (UTC)

Hi Bawanio. I am very busy with real life right now and have not much time for my internet hobbies. But sure will be keen for a chat, I will look you up on Telegram if I get a chance but please forgive me if I don't! Meodipt (talk) 04:06, 15 September 2022 (UTC)
I understand, thank you for a quick an honest answer. I added 36 cannabinods in 01:20 h to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Cannabinoids! I wish you an amazing weekend! --Bawanio (talk) 03:34, 17 September 2022 (UTC)

2’-Anisyl-Piperazine

[edit]

1-(2-Methoxyphenyl)piperazine [35386-24-4]

If you are able to create a wikipedia file on this compound, i'd be keen to share with you a list of 59 derivatives I have listed for this compound. This is the most out of any of the substituted piperazines. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.0.235.236 (talk) 08:42, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
