    The company was founded in 1983 and has repeatedly been recognized as one of the leading search firms in the mid-Atlantic region.  Scientific Search offers direct placement services including both contingency and retained search.  It also provides contract staffing services to allow clients to bring in top-notch professionals for a specific length of time or specific project. 
    The company focuses primarily on the mid-Atlantic region but also has capability to perform national and international searches.
    Joseph Peters is the President of Scientific Search and has.been working in the technology recruiting and staffing business since 1989.  Before joining Scientific Search, Joe was VP and Director of Operations with a regional recruiting and staffing firm, where he managed eleven offices and over forty recruiting and salespeople.
