Muiris Ó Céidigh (Irish pronunciation: [ˈˈmˠuːdˠiˠr is oː ˈceːdʲiː]; born 23 March 1961) is an Irish Public Sector CEO of the National Milk Agency who served as a Chair of the Irish Council for Civil Liberties and Chair of Dublin Pride LBGTQ.[1][2] He is Member of the Leadership Board of Forensic Science Northern Ireland and is a Govenor of Belfast Metropolitan College.
He gained a B.A and LLB from University College Galway and an MBA from Trinity College Dublin. He also holds an MA (Public Management from the institute of Public Administration and an MSc (Economics) from Trinity College Dublin specialising in Public Policy. In 2008 he gain a Doctorate in governance from Queeens University Belfast. He was awared an LLM by Leeds Beckett University in 2024. He was awarded an MSc in Mediical Forensic Science by the university of Verona. He worked as a corporate lawyer with Dublin commercial law firm A & L Goodbody before joing the National Milk Agency. He writes poetry and has been published widely including Oxford Poetry and was awarded the Ledwidge International Poetry Award in 2003. He is a member of the board of the faculty of pathology at the Royal college of Prysicians having previously been a public interest director of the Medical scientist Registration Board. He is a member of the Property Services Regulatory Authority and is currently Acting Chair of the audit and Risk Committeeof the northern Ireland Assembly Commission.
