The Group of German Anarcho-Syndicalists in Foreign Countries (German: Gruppe Deutsche Anarchosyndikalisten im Ausland; Gruppe DAS) were a German anarcho-syndicalist organization operating throughout Europe beginning in 1933. The Gruppe DAS was composed of exiled German anarchists living throughout Europe, particularly in Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, and France. To be a member of the Gruppe DAS, one was required to have first to be a member of an anarchist organization in Germany, which for many members meant the Free Workers' Union of Germany (FAUD) or the Federation of Communist Anarchists of Germany (FKAD). While the organization was primarily responsible for the mutual aid of its members, the Gruppe DAS in Spain gained some notoriety for participating in the Spanish Revolution and Civil War (1936-1939). In the conflict, the Gruppe DAS formed the "Erich Mühsam" Centuria, a small militia unit which fought on the Aragon Front in 1936 and 1937. Other members of the organization fought in the resistance in France during World War II, or worked with the Swedish Workers Central Organization (SAC).
