United States President, businessman, and television personality Donald Trump became widely known during the 2016 United States presidential election and his subsequent presidency for using nicknames to criticize[1] foreign leaders, media figures, and politicians. His use of imprecatory nicknames has been characterized as bullying by various media outlets.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
