Preston Smiles (born August 1, 1980) is a leader in the emergent wisdom movement, an author, experiential speaker, seminar leader, corporate trainer, and entrepreneur. He is the author of the Love Louder published by Simon & Schuster. He’s also the co-founder of The Love Mob, a social movement dedicated to acts of love[1], and the Bridge Method, a transformational training company which he runs with his wife Alexi Panos[2].

Early Life and Education

[edit]

Born in raised in Harbor City, CA a small town on the outskirts of Los Angeles County called “South Bay”. Preston was no stranger to all the experiences little boys growing up in the 80 & 90’s during the height of gangster rap would have. He was placed in special education at a young age and quickly learned to rely on his athletic and leadership abilities to dominate in sports and gang activity. After a few tragic deaths of his friends, Preston got his act together and made his way to Southern University where he received his BA in Journalism and his MFA in Theater Arts graduating with a 4.0 in his graduate studies.

Career

[edit]

Moving back to Los Angeles after college, Preston pursued an acting career, booking rolls on the hit HBO show ENTOURAGE, 90210, and over 30 commercials, movies, and television shows. After experiencing heart palpitations at the age of 25, Preston was forced to see a general doctor, and cardiologist that reflected back his bad eating habits and highly stressful living. This lit a fire in him to clean up his act and find out where else he was ill informed. This then led him to a book called “Ask and It is Given[3]” by Jerry and Esther Hicks and on to a transformational training program called MITT. From there, his heart was open to a new way of thinking and living and he went on to create his own methodologies which he is now leading all over the globe with Alexi Panos called "The Bridge Experience"

Love Louder

[edit]

Love Louder can help you tackle these everyday challenges and teach you how to live with more excitement, productivity, clarity, and confidence. Full of insights and powerful anecdotes, Preston’s motivational story is a heartwarming read for anyone seeking guidance on overall happiness and fulfillment in life[4].
