Tiger poaching in India seriously impacts the probability of survival of tigers in India.

Project Tiger in India had been hailed as a great success until it was discovered that the the count of tigers have been seriously flawed.[1]

It has been reported that the poaching, mainly by the Pardhi tribe, is the main contributor to the decline in the number of tigers.[2][3]
