Simon Strange is an American game designer. Strange founded Sunstone Games in June of 2011, and worked for several years at game developer Pipeworks Software. Strange is best known for his work on the series of Godzilla video games published by Atari. These popular titles include Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee (2002 for Gamecube & 2003 Xbox), Godzilla: Save the Earth (2004 for PlayStation 2 & Xbox), and Godzilla: Unleashed (2007 Wii version). Other video games Strange worked on include Rampage: Total Destruction, Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Deadliest Warrior: The Game[1], and the mobile game Sun Stones.
Currently Strange is working on the Kickstarter-funded game Colossal Kaiju Combat (CKC) for PC and potentially OUYA. Colossal Kaiju Combat will be released as two separate, but compatible titles. The first is a free release called Kaijuland Battles and is set to debut in 2013. The second CKC is a for-pay release called The Fall of Nemesis: Clash of the Kaijujin.
In addition to video games, Strange designed the CKC Combat Deck card game, and is currently working on a tabletop game titled The Worldship.
