Marseille

[edit]

Rindov began his career with Marseille, making his debut against Paris Saint-German in a league match. Rindov came off the bench and scored two goals to salvage a draw from 2-0 down. He immediately broke into the first team after this, going on to become the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Season and the Ligue 1 assist leader of the season as Marseille finished in second place behind Paris Saint-Germain by four points. The following season, Rindov continued to be one of the best youngsters in the world, winning the Ligue 1 Golden Boot and leading Marseille to a Champions League semi final where they lost on penalties to AC Milan. He won his first trophy, the Coupe de France, over AS Monaco by a 3-1 scoreline, where he scored a goal and assisted another. With the 2013-14 season coming to an end, Rindov's contract with Marseille was expiring and he made it clear that he was not interested in renewing his contract due to the lack of investment in the squad by the board. On 1 July, his contract expired, leaving him as a free agent.
