Lannie Franklin III

Lannie Franklin III is an American director and producer from Los Angeles, California. Franklin has been active in the film industry for several years.

His experience goes on to include:
1 Shekel Media stationed in Los Angeles, California in which he holds the position of director. He has been active with the company from November of 2008 right through the present day. B. U. Productions is another of Franklin's projects hailing from the greater Los Angeles area. While assisting this company Franklin coordinated, planed, and prepared all phases of themed events.

Volunteer Work

Lannie Franklin III volunteered as Radio Station Manager from Sept. 2006 up until May 2008 at the Langston University KALU 89.3 FM radio station in Langston, Oklahoma.
While volunteering, Franklin was appointed to the task of monitoring and evaluating the quality of the station to ensure that they met all of the requirements and regulations concerning programming. Franklin was also in charge of training students, interns, and other personnel at the radio station. Franklin also developed schedules and oversaw the daily operation of the station.

  • Production Coordinator

    In October 2004 through Feburary 2005 Franklin worked in Guthrie, Oklahoma in which he coordinated work of television crews, with assignment of accurate day-to-day schedules. Franklin also went on to oversee the completion of the designing and supervision of the crews during rehearsals and production. While simultaneously maintaining inventory of equipment and supplies, Franklin also worked closely with cast in day-to-day operations.

    Assistant to Executive Producer/ Director

    In December 1999 through December 2002 Lannie worked with Family Law as well as Sony/Columbia Tri-Star in Culver City, California. While working on the project, he controlled all aspects of production from inception to fruition. Franklin also supervised the distribution of the network contracts and practices. And finally Lannie acted as the official liaison between the executives and the crew.


    Education

    Franklin attended and graduated with honors from Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma with a major in Broadcast Journalism. Jul. 2007
