Landon Buford (born April 8th, 1990) In Seattle, Washington. He is an American sport and entertainment journalist. Buford is sports and entertainment writer most notably with The Hype Magazine[1] and Respect. magazine[2]

He is also a contributing writer for the Dallas Observer[3].

Education

He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington and his Associate degree in Arts and Science from Bellevue College in Bellevue, Washington.

Career

Buford began his career as a contributing writer with Jack Thriller.com[4] and otgbasketball.com[5] in 2014. Where he had the opportunity to interview professional basketball player DaVonte Lacy[6], who is currently the all time leader in three points made in Washington State University[7] history. In 2015, he would accept two contributing writing positions one with The Hype Magazine where he has interviewed countless public figures such as Grammy Award Winners Kenny G[8], Lee Greenwood[9], Daymond John[10] and Kenny Easley[11]. The other publication would be Respect. Magazine[12]. He had the opportunity to interview individuals such as DJ Envy[13], actor Kent Faulcon [14] , actress Karimah Westbrook[15] and former WWE Diva Lisa Marie Varon[16]

The Dallas Observer[17] would offer Buford a freelance position with the publication in 2017 and he would on to interview Dallas Cowboys' great Emmitt Smith[18], American actress Annie Ilonzeh[19], and former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Melissa Rycroft[20]. Some of Buford's work has been featured in other publications such as Bleacher Report[21] , Black Sports Online, Mile High Report[22], and Pro Player Insiders[23]. He has been interviewed by Thisis50.com[24], Thrive Global[25], and itsbizkit.com[26]
