François Bel-Ker is a French politician, general secretary of the monarchist organization Action française (AF).
Family background[edit]
François Bel-Ker grew up in a left-wing family with a Maoist father. From an Italian grandmother and a Tuareg great-grandfather wounded in Verdun. He became a Monarchist in contact with the Action Française.[3][4]

He rejects representative democracy and advocates the re-establishment of a decentralized federal monarchy, and calls for the fight against immigration.[5]
"People who think AF is far-right don't have a good ideological reading. All the debates that we discuss (ecology, sovereignty, nation) are transversal to the political parties."[6]
François Bel-Ker participated in 2012 and 2013 in La Manif pour tous and the Printemps français against the legalization of same-sex marriage. He declared : "Faced with the violence of the State, we are ready to act by all means, even legal ones."[7]
