Pelliroju (Marriage Day) is a 2017 Indian Telugu-language comedy-drama film directed by Nelson Venkatesan and produced by Mrudula Mangisetty, featuring Dinesh, Mia George and Nivetha Pethuraj in the leading roles.[1] The film released on 10 June 2016 to positive reviews from critics.[2]
Plot[edit]
Three young women, who have different perspectives on marriage, struggle to lead a happy life as they deal with criticisms and parental pressure to get committed soon. Oru Naal Koothu addresses marriage from the perspectives of different people. The story is based on the experiences of the director and focusses on issues related to a wedding.

Production[edit]
The production house agreed to finance the film, after gaining profits while working on Dinesh's previous film, Thirudan Police (2014).[3] The film began production in March 2015 in Dindigul, where scenes involving Mia George were shot.[4] Nivetha Pethuraj, a former beauty contestant winner from UAE, was selected to portray another leading female role in the film.[5]
Soundtrack[edit]
Music and soundtracks were composed by Pannaiyarum Padminiyum fame Justin Prabhakaran.[6] The soundtrack features five songs, the lyrics for which are written by Vennelakanti, Bhuvanachandra and Dr. Challa Bhagya Lakshmi. Behindwoods rated the album 3 out of 5 and called it "Justin delivers a soothing album."[7]
