Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona (born 30 June 1996) commonly known by her stage name Makhadzi, is the South African local queen of wedding songs. She is well known by singing by her native tongue Tshivenda. She has featured in Rorali Sho Madjozi , Vuwani ni mpfarepfare King Monada and Jola Kule Master KG.

Early life

Ndivhudzannyi was born in a small village outside Elim in Limpopo province. She stays with her mother and 2 siblings, she is the first born. As a teenager, Ndivhudzannyi traveled to France , Mozambique and Zimbabwe to perform.

Music and career

Ndivhudzannyi joined the Makirikiri Musical Group in 2010 to be a dancer. She started to have a desire in singing, whereby one day she decided to play aroung in studio by recording herself singing, the recording manager got hold of her recording and offer her opportunity to record in his studio. Her first album was in 2012, she has released 6 albums to date.

Ndivhudzannyi did her first Television interview on yo tv. she has being interviewed in Radio stations like Phalaphala FM, Nzhelele FM, Makhado FM and Capricon FM.


Award

In 2017 Ndivhudzannyi was named winner of the best Tshivenda hit with her song Yo Shoma during the Limpopo Music Awards ceremony held at Meropa Casino Hotel. The sky is not the limit for Ndivhudzannyi as in 2018 was awarded three TSHIMA awards, She won Female Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Artist of the Year awards.
