On January 18th 1993 Scottie Pennington 17 of Grayson,Ky shot and killed two at East Carter High School in Grayson.First he shot and killed his english teacher Deanna McDavid.Second he shot and killed school janitor Marvin Hicks,who heard the first shooting and came to see what was happening.He continued to hold the class hostage.
