Evaluate the Drafted Changes[edit]

This is already a very thorough article to start, but I think you've identified some areas that could benefit from some expansion. Some more information about how the gender wage gap contributes to food insecurity could be helpful. Your source includes the statistic that "a year's worth of disparities equal approximately 78 weeks of food lost for a woman's family." That could be helpful to include, to provide a better picture of exactly how wage disparities exacerbate food insecurity. The Wikipedia article also touches on how women are generally the ones responsible for acquiring and purchasing food - it could be helpful to flesh out that dynamic. For instance, I know public transit in some places is often not designed with women's needs in minds. Routes are typically based around the male breadwinner's commute, and fail to account for the fact that women's routes are more varied and women have other destinations in mind. Factoring access to suitable transit could be another place to build out the article. Otherwise, I think this is a great start!
