The book takes form with a lot of random facts and really is written in what every is on Eloise mind at the time. The 50th Anniversary Edition had many pictures, they are mostly surrounded by worlds. The book including the scrapbook has about 2,000+ words and 89 pages it is a hardcover book. The illustrate matches the description of what the little girl is saying very well and mostly to every sentences. Plot,

Eloise is a city girl that lives at the Plaza Hotel. Eloise is a little girl that is only 6 years old and fast moving. You never know what she is up to next it can be from being in the lobby seeing what is happening for the day even calling random people to writing on her walk or standing on her head. Eloise is very destructing and she likes to do what she wants to do and know one can tell her different. Eloise mom knows the owner of the Hotel and well her mom is away in Europe Eloise stays with the nanny. Eloise live to make noise and loves to touch everything she sees. The people that interact with her usually end up with a headache. Eloise is always knack for finding adventure in the Plaza. Eloise sometimes is trying to help, but little does she realize that she is creating a bigger mess. Eloise is home schooled but, it 's not her favorite thing to she love to annoy the tutor until he goes home ( he always leaves so fast).

Critical Reception,

" Eeeew! Peters is a pitch-perfect six-year old Eloise. Thompson chose her herself, and a good choice it was, for few adult actors can make such young characters sound both silly and believable. With delicious humor, Peters recreates the sophisticated, childish, beguiling, and snooty miscreant who lives on the top floor of the Plaza with her dog, her turtle, and her very, very, very British nanny, who frequently utters adjectives and adverbs in threes. Eloise “ab-so-lute-ly luuwes” the Plaza and its staff, whom she runs ragged, making demands of the doormen and management, crawling among patrons and endlessly ordering (mostly caviar) from room service."
