Jorge B. Perez (Born Jorge Bernardo Perez on September 8th 1979) is a Spanish-Cuban-American visual artist, performance artist, and experimental film maker. Born in Miami, FL. He has been drawing and painting from a very young age, By the time he turned 16 years old he was already displaying his work around Miami and building a very impressive collection of art. His art has been displayed in numerous group shows around the country and the world. His works cover a lot of subjects. Evolution, Life, Death, mysticism, transsexuals, blood, monsters, plastic surgery have all been subjects of his work. His work usually has a dark edge to it. He has said that he is inspired by the darker things in life as well as people on the street, youth culture, his personal heroes and mainly by his own life and experiences.
