From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I have no clue what to do here, sorry I'm new so I'm just going to describe my situation. I saw that no one has created a Wikipedia page for cometary outbursts and I thought that was weird, since that is a topic that is discussed in astronomy and in academic circles. So, I decided I would create a wikipedia account because I figured maybe I get the ball rolling. I know it has a lot of shortcomings in terms of content but I just wanted to submit the article as a stub so that other people can build it into a real article. After posting the draft (Draft:Cometary Outburst), I realized there was more work I could've done. I could've added more links to other wikipedia articles and maybe add some light formatting changes to give it more of a Wikipedia feel. But I didn't realize that you can't do light edits to a draft after submitting since its my first time creating a wikipedia article. Regardless, I hope it works out, and that other people much better at this than me are able to give this topic the attention it deserves.

(The comets wikipedia page only speaks of their existence for a couple sentences and doesn't go into detail on the mechanisms from which they occur or the history of our observations on cometary outbursts)
