Callie van der Merwe

Callie van der Merwe is a multiple award-winning architect and founder of Design Partnership, a retail and design company based in South Africa which has since expanded to Sydney and London.

Van der Merwe originally graduated as an architect with a Distinction from the University of Port Elizabeth but later stated that "the business model was not one that made sense to me".[2] Van der Merwe then branched out into design.

Van de Merwe is considered one of South Africa's most successful entrepreneurs [7] He is a noted speaker and writer on design and architecture and has had TV appearances [8] and interviews. Van de Merwe has been a judge of awards in architecture and design including the 1.618 awards[9] for PG Bison, which van de Merwe won the inaugural prize.
