Ian Kendall Judge-Lord (Born December 19, 1988) is an American political scientist, novelist and blogger based in Madison, Wisconsin.

Early Life and Education[edit]

Ian Judge Lord was born on a farm in the rural township of Amherst Junction, Wisconsin. Home-schooled until the second grade, Ian Judge-Lord taught himself to read and write. He attended preschool at the UWSP Gesell Institute for Early Childhood Learning. In the late 1990's Ian was enrolled in the Tomorrow River School District in nearby Amherst, Wisconsin, where Ian discovered his talent for writing. He graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School in May 2007 and enrolled at the Stevens Point campus of Mid-State Technical College. In the fall of 2008, he went to the University of Wisconsin--Stevens Point, but his first semester proved unsuccessful academically and he dropped out. After living in Portland, Oregon in the summer of 2009, Ian enrolled in Mid-State Technical College's Wisconsin Rapids campus in the spring of 2010. He then went back to UWSP in the spring of 2012 and graduated in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Science [B.S.] degree in Political Science from the College of Letters and Sciences.

Career[edit]

Moving to Madison, Wisconsin in the spring of 2018 and working for the Wisconsin Elections Commission during the 2018 Midterms Elections , Ian became an Auditor of Marriott International at the AC Hotel on Capitol Square in the spring of 2019, working there through the shutdowns caused by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus [SARS-COVID-19] Pandemic of 2020. In the fall of 2021, Ian enrolled in the Paralegal Studies program at Madison Area Technical College. After working as a Lending and Deposits Specialist, Loan Processor and Data Analyst for Genpact in the fall of 2023, Ian enrolled at the University of Wisconsin--Parkside in the Spring of 2024.
