2022 Summit League tournament winner

The 2021–22 North Dakota State Bison men's basketball team represented North Dakota State University in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bison, led by 8th-year head coach David Richman, played their home games at the Scheels Center in Fargo, North Dakota, as members of the Summit League.

Previous season

[edit]

The Bison finished the 2020–21 season 25–12, 11–5 in Summit League play to finish in 3rd place for the Summit League regular season championship. They defeated Kansas City, and South Dakota, in the 2021 Summit League Tournament. NDSU nearly pulled off an improbable comeback against Oral Roberts in the final of the tournament to win the league in what would've been their third straight year.[1]
