Becky Rosa[edit]

Becky Rosa Chesneau professionally known as Becky Rosa, is a multi disciplinary artist from London, UK and currently resides in Miami, FL. She is the creator and founder of the Birkream as well as Expensive Taste, a fiberglass medium with an automotive paint finish, that stands between 2-6 feet tall[1]. Both designs were created in the beginning of her art career. The designs are suppose to replicate a handbag created by the French fashion house, Hermès, called "The Birkin," named after fashion designer, Jane Birkin, melting like an ice cream on a cone. This design help her secure the Peoples Choice Award for Bombay Sapphire Artesian Series in 2015 presented by Bombay Sapphire and Rush Philanthropic, ran and owned by Russell Simmons[2].

She coined these names in 2013 where she first originated her design under her clothing line BRC Street Couture. One notable client of BRC Street Couture is movie star and actress Zendaya, wearing becky's viral design "No Basic's Allowed" after her clothing line went viral in the early days of Instagram, Becky has worked and showcased with multiple galleries around the world. Her art is showcased in Los Angeles, New York, North Carolina, Palm Beach, Miami,Greenwich, CT, Boston and Washington D.C, she was also premiered at Scope Art Fair, Art Miami, Art Hamptons, Art Palm Beach[3][4][5][6], with her own private shows at The Delano Hotel in 2018[7][8][9], "The Art of Couture" at the Cornell Art Museum in Delray Beach, Florida 2019-2021, The Royal Poinciana in Palm Beach 2018[10]. Becky has also had her works show cased in Dubai, Australia, Philippines, Hong Kong, London and Italy. She has had numerous shows in East Asia, specially with Secret Fresh Gallery[11] and the Affordable Art Fair in Hong Kong[12].

Today, Becky's art sits in multiple collections and galleries next to likes of Andy Warhol, KAWS, Jean Michael Basquiat and Jeff Koons[13].
