The The Great British Pantomime Awards, or simply the Panto Awards, are presented to recognise excellence in professional pantomime in Great Britain at an annual ceremony in the London.

The awards are given to individuals involved in [[Pantomime]. A discretionary non-competitive Special Pantomime Award is also given each year. The Panto Awards are recognised internationally as the highest honour in British pantomime, equivalent to the BAFTA Awards for film and television, and the BRIT Awards for music. The Pantomime Awards are considered equivalent to Broadway's Tony Awards and France's Molière Award.

Since its inception, the awards have been held at various venues and theatres across London.


History[edit]

The awards were first established in 2017 by Dan Dawson and pantomime performer Sam Mundy-Webb.


Judging[edit]

Each year, The Great British Pantomime Awards judging panel, see all professional pantomime productions across the British isles. They then collate a shirt list.
