Keepmoat Regeneration[edit]

Keepmoat Regeneration Limited is part of the ENGIE Group. It provides regeneration services in the UK, and is active in public housebuilding, refurbishment, extra care services, planned and responsive repairs and sustainability solutions. Its headquarters are based in Doncaster.

History[edit]

The company was founded in Rotherham by George Bramall and Dick Ogden as Bramall & Ogden in 1931. It acquired Frank Haslam Milan (founded in Doncaster 1928) in 1983 and changed the name of the combined business to Keepmoat[1]. Keepmoat bought Milnerbuild, a Leeds-based social housing repair and maintenance company, in 2010[2]. In 2012, the Keepmoat and Apollo merged[3]. In 2014, Keepmoat was acquired by two London-based private equity firms, TDR Capital and Sun Capital Partners (UK)[4][5]. ENGIE acquired the regeneration part of the business in February 2017[6].

Major projects[edit]

Keepmoat’s major projects include the regeneration programme of The Byker Wall [7] the St. Mary’s Passivhaus development in Oldham[8], two PFI projects in Leeds[9] and Pendleton and a regeneration project in West Gorton to build 400 new homes[10].
