So, the U.C. Berkeley School of Journalism is building the demo project, but as of 10/4/2006, NOTHING appears to be up, with the election just a month away: [16]
- Actually, here's the (internal) blog on progress - so things are happening, but slowly: [17]
- (Checked on 10/26 - last posting was 10/15 - I'm guessing that they have essentially given up having a website up before the election. I suspect they've given up having anything done before the election. I've not seen anything actually stating that they would, be it always seemed a reasonable presumption.
What's particularly interesting is the volunteer/citizen aspect, plus the idea of building a "template" for use in 2008.
